March 2025, Barcelona - This year, the MAVOCO team returned to Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, one of the most influential events in the mobile and tech industry. From March 3rd to 6th, we explored the latest innovations, connected with industry leaders, and gathered valuable insights to drive our future projects.
MWC 2025: AI's impact and the path forward
MWC 2025 was a major event with global participation, showcasing the latest in 5G, AI, IoT, and other cutting-edge technologies. Felix Aumair, our Customer Success Manager, noted, "AI was everywhere at MWC, but many companies struggled to justify its high computing power demands. Despite this, I believe AI will play a crucial role in the mobile industry's future, though we need innovations to reduce power consumption and speed up AI model training."

MWC 2025 highlighted the strong momentum behind eSIM adoption, emphasizing its potential to transform mobile connectivity and enhance user experiences.
