MAVOCO hosts successful annual gathering, unveils strategic reorganization plan
From February 21 to 23, 2024, MAVOCO hosted its annual gathering at the company’s head office in Vienna. Over the course of three days, more than 70 employees from 18 nationalities, executives, and key stakeholders came together to celebrate past achievements and participate in the unveiling of a new chapter for the company — a comprehensive reorganization plan designed to enhance efficiency and collaboration across all departments.
A day of reflection and renewal
In his opening remarks, CEO Phat Huynh highlighted the company’s growth over the past year and the challenges that came with it:
"As we continue to evolve in a rapidly changing market, it’s essential that we reorganize to stay agile and innovative. This gathering is not just a celebration of our achievements but a decisive moment for us to reshape how we work together to create even greater impact in the years to come."
The opening speech set the tone for the day, emphasizing that the reorganization was not simply a structural change but a shift in mindset—focusing on efficiency, open communication, and innovation.
Following Phat’s keynote, team leaders took the stage to outline the details of the reorganization, discussing the reasons behind the changes, the implementation process, and the key components of the plan. In addition to the strategic aspects, the company’s financial performance and organizational growth plans were outlined, focusing on key goals for the future: simplifying processes, improving management, increasing monetization, empowering teams, enhancing monitoring, and scaling operations.
Workshops and team-building activities
In the afternoon, employees participated in a series of interactive workshops aimed at equipping them with the tools and strategies needed to succeed in the reorganized structure. The plenum, panels, and breakout sessions over the days were full of engaging discussions that reflected MAVOCO’s culture of open and honest communication.
A highlight of the afternoon was the team-building challenge, where cross- departmental teams collaborated on creative problem-solving exercises. The activity not only fostered stronger bonds but also showcased the importance of cross-team cooperation and open communication.
